At times robotic and mechanized, at times fleshy and pulsating — that’s where it started. I Want You to Run was to continue my exploration of the human body, its relationship to psychology and neurology, its condition between the organic and the mechanical. But this time, I wanted to go further. And here I am, in the middle of it all, zooming into the cracks and creases of weathered skin, into a body sixty years older than mine. For months, we've worked closely, watching a revolution unfold inside of her — a dancing, deadly declaration of life.
